Got to love Caterhams My father has a superlight R300 which he competes in. I think he's sprinting at Castle Combe tomorrow. Hurry up and get that engine in the car and get a video up, I'm looking forward to see how this goes

yup they are damn awsome cars! we have 3 r300's,they do the british championship. and about 7 more for another championship! but the white one is something different. its got a 2.3 duratec ford lump, pushing 290 brake with a paddle shift 7 speed box, carbon bellhousing and propshaft and weighs just under 600 kgs. soon to be fitted with Nos absolutly mental!

yep, thats the aim, want to get it running and go to the mini show at stanford hall in it, so its all systems go!!

yeah, the thing is mental. we just need to finish off the traction and launch control and then we can do the nos. the ECU this uses is the one the LMP cars use! nuts..

Damn!! no. 3 iol scraper ring broke, dont know how, must have caught it when installing them last time.. oh well, il have to order another one.. :/

Hi, cheers!! Yeah it's really nice to be able to assemble everything that is clean and correct:). I have messed around with dirty engine before, definitely not my cuppa tea. I love the feeling of getting everything right, getting the correct parts for the right tolerances, I love it!

I want 120 brake at the fly, and of it means a full race spec engine, then that is what will happen. But in the end it will make what it makes!

Its a really nice build..but 120 at the fly might be a bit ambitious for a 1310, but Maybe!!

yep, doubt it can make it, but il be happy whatever it makes, not getting a more racey cam than the 649, thats more than enough!
