I've got pdf plans for mdf DIY dash, centre console, arm rest, under rear seat speaker board, parcel shelf (i think) and a boot liner. I'm pretty sure I got them all from this forum. I've yet to make any but they seem fairly straight forward. I have to say though that the ebay ones should be spot on and should be almost guaranteed to fit if you make it exactly to the template whereas following a pdf might be a bit more open to human error, but if you're making your own and the plan is to save money then the pdf ones are definitely worth a shot! Let me know if you're having trouble finding any on the list that you want :-)

I'm interested in having a go at this self made dash thing, but isn't the dash concave? How would I achieve this with mdf? I know it sounds silly but I'd rather make it myself even if it costs me the same as buying outright, just because I like the process and the fact that I can say "I made that" plus I can cover it in whatever I want then!

Ah.... yes but there's nothing minor satisfying than "reinventing the wheel".... (or the funnel as the case may be! )

*OVER £10*

Lidl will have 2 Ton trolley jacks for £20 from tomorrow. I used my dads instead of the little scissor jack I keep in the boot and I can't put into words how much better it was.

*Under £10*

They'll also have fire extinguishers, headlight bulbs, and other bits for less than £10
