Finished the boot lid today as well, lost some bolts so the number plate will have to go on tomorrow.
Done it in the same way you'd do most boots but we put in inserts so I'll let the pictures explain














Front is also starting to drop and settle down now (sorry for dark picture)

Starting to look the business now, spending tomorrow putting the chrome locking strip and side windows in. Hopefully it'll be water-tight then

As seen above, the boot lid is now finished









Spent today putting the side windows in, looks quite nice, starting to look like a "proper motor" Hopefully it'll warm up and we can start the engine.. then the fun begins. Anyway, I'll let the pictures talk















Then the chrome locking strip;








And finally, put the chrome bolt into the steering column bracket, not a very good picture though

Not alot done today, went to put a drift shaft in a van and ended up polishing...


Left = Unpolished Right = Polish applied




And both sides polished



Really impressed with the roof, my phone camera doesn't do it justice but it was like a mirror

Ahhh good was just going to sugest leaving it as is,instead dressing it in badges & what not . To many minis look like that,it'd be nice to see one fairly standard for a change .

Gonna keep it 100% standard, once I've had my license 2 years it may get a 1340 engine in it, but doubtfull

Yeah i have plans als for in the distant future when im 24 as then i'l be liable for classic insurance .

classic insurance + 850cc + tax exemption = much much more mini funds
