Just new on here but just read through this thread and there is some amazing work and loads of good ideas love getting inspiration from peoples hard work.

Bit of an update, i have managed to tidy up the wires, lose the large hole in the bulkhead and sort out all the rusty bits. Unfortunatly for some reason i cannot access my photobucket album to upload the photo's onto here

Theres always another way to do it, next to do is rub down the engine bay and paint it, reroute all the wireing and then start on the dash, with pods for the mid range.

Update time again folks, engine bay repainted




Also managed to make a start on the factory dash, filled in centre hole and redrilled to take 2 clocks above the radio, bit of filler and a first primer coat, found a couple of imperfections that need a refill




Made a start on the 2 speaker pods to house my 120mm midds in the dash. Hopefully they will look better in these pods than just dummped in the air vent holes

Hi Scott, no mate the infinity's as they say are history. I am keeping quiet about what i am replacing them with atm as a bit of a surprise at the end, but at the moment i am haveing trouble finding grilles for the mid and mid base.

may take you up on that offer Joe, as i have realised i will need to redo all the front mounts/pods as my replacement speakers are all different in size to the infinity's

Even with the weather being as cold as it is at the moment, i have made a little more progress on the dash and pods, thanks to my calor gas fire. Dropped all my bits off for powder coating which should be back with me in around 2 weeks, not to shabby that.

My progress is a little slower than i would like, but its getting there and i am really pleased with what i've got done so far and i think i have the only 2 clock factory dash.

Use some filter and blend them in to the dash and gloss them to match...
