All the welding is done, and finished the etc/seal/stonechip/primer on the underneath and inside.
Now back on wheels and home so the last few bits can be cleaned and painted, and the outside prepped ready for the paintshop.
In the absence of a garage, this might take a while. That and a few other projects on the go!
Mike (Dad)
(and before anyone asks, that's industrial red primer covering everything up, given it is stored outside. Not the halfords rattle can sh1te!)

Hi Lawrie, coming along nicely, well done. I know your dad and Geoff will give you has much help as you need but if you need a extra pair of hands for anything just ask mate.
Keep up the good work.

time flies when you're busy building other cars (and a trailer)!
The wee lad has nearly finished all the paint prep; still a few bits of filler/holes uncovered that need attention.
Next job is to trial fit doors, bonnet and boot lids, then I guess dad had better get his wallet out and book it in the paintshop.
Well, once he's finished choosing a colour scheme ......

My Grandson, who has been working on Minis since he was 4, did this starting when he was 13 and finishing when he was almost 16. It's a 998 Mayfair with the engine bored to 1060 cc. Ignore the date on the photo. It should have read 2010:
