Took a few underwhelming quality snaps over the last few days but it's always nice to put pictures to the progress so I'll upload them since it's Christmas and all that
Simon wire brushing the final of the front panel fixings, the slam catch for the bonnet. This drill has served us very well for the restoration and was the soundtrack of summer 2013
Hopefully it's last use until things start going rusty again!
and general loveliness
The brakes are now working lovely after trying a few different things and there is talk of an MOT for tomorrow Unfortunately I'll be doing a 14 hour shift at work, but I'll await the good news. There is no way it will fail the MOT other than on a few things which we expect, the tyres stick out far enough to be a fail if the tester is having a bad day and things like headlamp adjustment since they currently light up birds nests in 60ft high trees
But, she'll get there, Simons attention to detail is too good for it to fail on anything significant.
