I guess you could but you have to be careful as you will blow your sub because your putting all that power through it...IF the gain is set wrong

I couldn't find a good amp with suitable power @ 4ohms. Conrad, you did say 4ohms didn't you. So why would they say it's 2ohms when it's really 4ohms single sub

These subs always throw me...

But that link to the manual does seem to explain it... its because its two 2ohm coils, so it is 2ohm, but its how you wire it to get that final value, it means you can go to a really high resistance or real low one...

Hmm... now do I go for a JL package like conlad linked or do I get that 12" JL sub I want and just spent the extra getting a suitable amp......

An amp that runs 2ohm stable and pushes 2 channels at 300w? That'll be out of your budget, on it's own
