I'm wondering what the normal operating oil pressure should be? When cold, my oil pressure gauge reads a little over 50psi. As the engine warms up, it drops down to around 30 at idle and 40-45 when driving. Just wondering if this is normal?

Sounds pretty good... Your running oil pressure is governed by the oil pressure relief valve, and your idle oil pressure is indicative of big end/main bearing conditions.

Yes, not too bad, however my newly rebuilt engine will run at a little higher pressure.
The pressure should drop on a warm engine at idle as the oil is thinner when hot, and so less pressure required to force it around the passage ways in the bearings etc.
