Whats the fit like with solid mounts?

Ive never tried these but always wondered what they are like on a road car.

There still on my little desk so can't tell ya  , plus the minis in bits so far from a test drive with them also ;D ,

I understand they "Stiffen up" the ride for a sporty feel and better handling, but as with nearly every quote i,ve heard its just chinese whispers, proof is in the pudding Elf :proud:

Same goes for coilspring (not coilovers) conversion, most you ask say there crap in some way or another but i'l spend my money and be the one to judge based upon my own testing and daily drive use, theres actualy a guy who's made a thread on here were he's testing and updating his thread on coilsprings in daily life so keeping my eyes on that for reliability.

Cheers

Cliff

Tidy little thing! Drop it with wide steelies, and a deep dish steering wheel and straight through exhaust imo. Keeps it simple and reversable

Plans ? errrr, to be honest i like it stock and as is really, only be at the most changing the wheels and ride height,

alot will be done, you just wont see it haha, thinking of locating some spare subframes and getting them galved as i did with my mini ones and swapping them over once i get them back.

Thanks T :proud:

Haha cheers nathan, might play with the ride height but im not comfy with it being so low just yet, we'l see (food for thought) only just got the damn thing today  ).

Yeah reversable changes only on this as its all there original and complete, wings, sills, floors and all in pretty mint condition, must have been stored in a black hole :gimme:

Anyone know if the mini PCD is the same ?, what other mini part can i use ? (i know the engines are the same haha)

Thanks again
