With regards to gas Cliff, try hobbyweld.

They have branches all over. If they have two on the isle of wight then they must have one near you. I just started using them and it cost a little under £100 to get started then you just pay about £36 for refill. The one I have is called hobbyweld 5.

I also heard of Adams gas which are supposed to be good.

Worth a try mate...

well i hope you get it back up and working before winter comes lol it wont take long until we have crap weather again. well saying that what good weather do we have anymore! hopefully it does not rain tomoz i need to chop that shell up and strip a mercedes benz so i can sell some parts of it. i bet it rains just my luck!

Ahh DONT SAY THAT!!!!! , haha i do need to get a move on with this though, thinking of buying a gazebo to put up o even if its nissing it down i''l still be able to crack on wiht it, problem is finding a decnt sized one at the right price :/

I bought a 6M by 3M marquee from homebase with all the sides a few years back. I fitted my Merc in there with room all round no problem. Don't know if they still do em but it was only about £75

I'm not sure, as I want to rev it everywhere, I think I might have more fun with a 998. Not sure though. Will read the visard manual to see options

The guy actually offered it for free when I bought a 1275 off him, but I suspect he will want money for it now. Doh

And was close to the bone I think, not wide, just deep. I find ear defenders also block that irritating ringing sound the grinder makes. Couldn't work without them now!

No problem pal, glad to be of help

Oh well, the cheap ebay one is the same as the home base one I bought and it stood up pretty well. I resprayed two 190's, a moped, a motorbike and put a new front on a crashed Corsa c and sprayed that too under my marquee and it did alright!! If I still had it, I would have sent it your way for you to make use of but I can't remember what happened to it.

Ahh you,ve given me an idea to use it as a spray booth aswell!, might be worth investing abit more money into a good one for that as the garage is dusty and full of holes haha

Sounds like you're into your merc's Ben :P how is it for getting and registering cars on the isle of white ?
