Cheers Tom,
I bought it from Minisport a while back, was originaly for the mk2 project but this one needed replacing aswell .
Im sure most places do then Tom, M-machine, minispares, minisport and if all else fails just go to BMH's website and look for the supplyers and stockists of there panels and order one! Simple as peas......

Looking good mate ! out of interest what make are the wings ?
Hi Rocket, almost forgot to look for you! , the wings are made by a company called Rhibo, from my research they are based in italy and sell wings, pickup tailgate, bonnet and possibly a few other mini panels.
Cheers,
Cliff

Had abit of time on this today, got the innerwing repair guter bit a made up a page or 2 back welded in and the top engine steady bulkhead bracket welded in also, the welds on the bracket don't look pretty as access wasnt the best, but they do the job!!

Ok guys, today i finished unexpectedly early (12 O'Clock), after the hours walk home i still had a good 5 hours to stab on at doing bits and bats on Checkmate, some of which was, grinding down welds (always a favorite job haha), welding up small holes around the air vents were the screws would normaly pass through, fixing the hinges and lastly laying out all the bits & bobs that have been hiding away for 12 months, ready for a light cleanup and refurb if required.
You know the drill,
Picture time!!.....
Bits & bob on the work bench:
Welds and grownd down welds (still much to do):
New trackrod ends i found in the garage so thought id treat him/her/it to some new joints ;) :
And here are the hinges for the bonnet, the reason for re-doing the studs is due to hidden corrosion and mainly this gouge in one were i had to cut the nut off as it was spinning right at the beginning of the project:
Thanks for viewing,
Cliff
