They came from the factory like that didn't they
They fitted the mounts before painting anyway!
A bit of moisture between the panel and the mount and this is what happens (this is my car)

my 2 up 2 down spotlight brackets turned up today but SWMBO has had me decorating this week no time for the mini so far this week

Hi all i have been busy with stripping the car all the glass interior engine front subframe rear sub is ready to come out. I have changed the passenger door step but i am not happy with it the lines are cr*p i will be getting a new one on my way home from our holiday from dsn do not tell the wife here are a couple of pics i have also decided on changing both inner wings i also removed all the underseal from inside the car [my brother] more pics soon

Had an hour or so to finish off welding the shock absorber re enforcement plate this is how the car looks now
next update when i get back off holiday got our daily to get ready

Been busy removing the very crusty rear subframe and generally removing bits ready to fit the floor repair panels in removed the n/s inner wing i only get a few hours a day as i have to look after my wife who is disabled more pics to come soon
