Hi again, get your bodyshop to have a look or have a look yourself, on the underside facing the floor pan the sills should have slots in where the bumps are in the sill, these are the drain holes to let water n moisture out and also let air get in to help keep the box section dry, they might for now be able to drill holes and maybe open up the closed sills (if they are cover sills that is, but they sure do look like it). Oh and once again, nice looking mini there.

I have the slots there, do i need to drill holes there, or are the holes in the slots big enough? We have some "stuff" at work that they use in cavities for rustproofing, its in spraycans with long noozles(don't know the name for it:p, they have great experience with using that:)
Sorry for my bad english..

Nice work on the engine bay, The area cleaned up well and it looks like it was only surface rust. I think there is a thread based on what Mrlan was talking about: http://www.theminifo...-to-avoid-them/

Hey man, I'd ask in the technical section about the sills, to get the best opinions.

Fixed the wiring and changed the fusebox, probably need a new wiringloom, but for now it its going to be like this. The biggest glassfuses was 35Amp, and the biggest bladefuse i found was 30Amp, hope this will work!

sandblasted the brake/clutch cylinders and got them painted, not sure about how that will look, so if thay turn out very bad i have to buy some new ones :)

Ther starter solenoid needs a good earth to its body - as standard this is through the fixing to the wing which I don't think i will get with your new paint and that self tapper.

I prefer to run a separate run earth to it from the main earth point near the inner wing brace.

Once again, you are doing some excellent work on this. When you are done you should post a before and after pic to the engine bay styling section :)
