managed to just finish cutting my boot pan out, didnt relise so much work went into actually cutting one of those out i will post some pics later on

hopfully just got to wait for my mig to arrive now and im set to go, cant beleve its nerly taken a month to send a mig!! :lol:

yeah slow postage sucks!!!

I've waited exactly 1 month for an airbag unit to arrive!

Did it just need a boot floor or did it take the valance with it?

I've waited exactly 1 month for an airbag unit to arrive!

Did it just need a boot floor or did it take the valance with it?



valance was not too bad, but i thought wilst i was taking the hole pan out i had better re new the valance too, instead of trying to remove it carefully, at least then i now that the rear end is all in good nick hey, arches have also got to be done so a lote to be done :lol:

luckily my boot floor is apparently ok, just one arch, (both getting replaced anyway) and rear valance.

Probably for the best to renew the valance aswell though like you're doing means it'll be solid for a few years atleast

me making the bulkhead a little smarter for a better fit!

cheers, learning a lot as i go a long , think the welding is going to be the hardest bit here! (can braise never used a mig) :)

i then red leaded the whole boot to prevent anymore rust!

had a brake from the mini and im just getting back into it so thought id let everyone now whats happening,

ive managed to sort the arches and the boot floor out at last so most the rear body wk is now complete been shalzing the mini all today pics are bellow

i now these are not the best of pics but it was a quick snap before i went to work

hopping on getting the rear subby on tomz so that the car is moveable, i can get the LH* sill door step and a panel sorted then
