:) Ah no dude! thats a real shame. It was all coming together as well!
Mine is eating the F/OS arch every time I put it on full lock - theres a great big chunk of gelcoat gone from the fibreglass now.

Mine is certainly settling, went out Fri-Sat.. no problems... pushing it into the garage and it started rubbing... so arch chopping time :)

Will drop the engine out like I said, check what is actually making it bind, my first thoughts are thrust washers, but when thinking about it all, it might be the bearing, might that I've got the crank oully too tight, could be anything in all honesty, only way to find out, is going to be an engine removale, and inspect it all.

I want to do a few tweaks anyways, such as timing the cam in a bit more - spesh now its done about 50miles, so the chain would of streched a bit, I need to sort out the timing cover too, it keeps tapping the crank pully, and other than that, i just want to tart the engine bay up even more :o

Christ, its not been a good weekend for us has it? Mart, is there any chance you can start winding the hilos up to stop them rubbing? Thats all I keep needing to do to mine. Its just that its settling quicker than I can adjust it :) Might think about the coil springs for the next one...

No hilos on the front. Standard trumpets :)
I don't mind trimming the arches, it needs to be done sooner or later :o

But the engine comes first :xxx:
