Thats a pretty good idea actually im surprized i havnt seen it yet- its probably stronger than having those seat extender brakets as well

Only just seen this reply. Yeah it feels alot stronger all together. no flex at all in the mounts. Need to put some threaded rivits in the floor to hold my subframes at the back should make it ALOT better and safer.

Been making a centre console for a while, toying with different ideas for one. Will post it up when its finished

Brought 2 sets of wheel bearings for the front today. Advisory on the MOT list and you can hear them scrub a little on the corners, so I want to catch it now. Going to clean my hubs and drive shafts up whilst there off, Did'nt do those whilst the engine was out like a fool

Never liked doing wheel bearings Quite Ironic, thought I'll put the gazebo up to make sure if it rains I'll be fine, just got the last rope tied to the fence and it slashes it down! haha.

YAY!! Got them finished eventually. Its a totally different car now! so much quieter, smoother too. alot less vibration in the wheel too. Mini life is good

Ordering a service kit as we speak. Came with an AAU Needle so it should be perfect for my engine!

Right! update....

The HIF38 didnt work out... So that wasnt a good buy think the floats stuck. but ahh well. Spent a week trying to fit it and get it running but it wer'nt having any of it. HS4 is back on now, new needle etc, Looooads better now, New choke cable too, earlier locking type....

Going along to uni this morning and the bonnet catch came up....

Luckily the saftey latch kept on hold till I could pull over, So I'm putting on a leather bonnet strap soon, Tempted to get rid of the revo's, fit some gold 5x12 minilites, and paint the roof OEW, and fit a roof rack, Rally poo (H)

I have a rebuild kit for it, the cable mounting plate, the outer cable to suit it and the choke cable clip. Allll brand new
