Ive been up to see it, then we went for a ride out to Matlock on..... I think it was Thursday night.

Looks great, been done really well, all suits it nicely.

Engine is a 998, with a Cooper freeflow manifold, K&N filter, new needle and finished off with RC40 system. Stage 1 pretty much.

His old Cooper wasn't SPI Will, it was MPI.

Lovely car it is.

Couldn't keep up with my old 1275 up the hills to Matlock, hehe.

Put the bucket seats in, harnesses and dash, removed all the sound proofing from the back bench and painted it up, then decided to go to halfords and buy meself something to listen to when I drive, so I came back with a new Alpine iPod head unit and 2 10cm Sony Xplod speakers in the front this week, Looked like this...

Theeen, I put mesen a fag lighter into the dash for sat nav ect, and painted my dash rails.

Just needs a damn good clean now ready for Mini in The Park. Chrome wipers are needed I feel.

EDIT:

Anybody got any nicer door cards? Will be making some new ones when I get back from MITP. Can't wait.

Finished my door cards the other night and forgot to update this, so I thoguht I'd whack a picture in here.

Preety happy with it now to be honest, few more bits to do, such as leccy ignition, Lucas sport coil, Roling Road session at Pete Burgess soon to, should improve things abit. Need to plumb in my heated inlet too. ahh well, not hard to do.

Just spent the last few hours cleaning it, Looks mega, so it calls for a picture :P

Todays achievement....

Mounted the seat brackets on the rear of the cross member. Looks a hell of alot neater, a mod I seriously reccomend for any taller mini drivers, Only took me about 2 hours and that includes a dinner break!

Looks loads neater without the long brakcets ect,

All the bits and bobs are comming off in the winter when I break up for uni and getting a good painting so it'll look alot nicer!
