Sorry to bring it to this, but forget A-S, you don;t know me, and I don;t know you, so don;t judge me, otherwise thee will be judged ok - I would of PM'd you, but I can'till put a-serious aside on this one mart.
im gunna be useing the t2, how far exactally am i going to have too move the pockets down the bore?

Anyways, what T2?
The R5 GTT are good, but then you have the question on what Manifold you getting?
Also, the reason why you need to sink the pocket further is due to you increasing the lift, not sure how deep, but I'd guess 0.2:1 lower than normal as standard rockers a 1.3:1, so shoving 1.5:1 rockers on, you'll need the valve to lift the extra 0.2:1.
Also, not doing this in spite, but forget the SW5 cam! its a pure N/a Cam, NOT a turbo cam. If you want to build an engine to run N/a for now, go for a Avonbar ph1 Turbo-cam, or the standard Metty turbo cam. This will give you all you need for a realiable 998 turbo.
to be honest, a nicely ported '940 head, with a decent combustion chamber (avonbar or MSPD), along with a decent bottom end, a Avonbar ph1 cam, with a decent manifold and turbo, you'll be putting most "1380's" to shame!!
I'm not trying to teach you how to suck eggs, but in all honesty, I'd (re)build a decent 998 N/a motor, using a SW5 cam, NO hi-lift rockers (no need on a 998), with either a '940 or a '295 head, this will be awesome to run about with, while you build a 998 turbo with a decent spec. Pistons are the biggest problem, as I'd personally, go for Forged, rather than cast, just for the realiablity factor.
Another personal touch I'd do, if you power, and torque, over a revvy engine is get a long stroke crank (1098), this will be loverly on a turbo....
