10.5 isn't too much to be honest, but it's a little high....

The other cams are very revvy, and in all honestly, you'll get stung by the insurance if you declare it - which you better ;D

i will, but i mean i wont be going into a city and my town doesnt get too much congestion so i dont mind a cam that picks up at 2/3 k but like you said insurance is the thing...

little tip... most "revvy" cams are based on 1275's so say for example;

SW5 powerband 1500-6500rpm (1275)
for a 998 2000-7000 (ish) the smaller the bore, the higher the powerband, so a SW5 is perfect... and you'll get fed up of little torque that a revvy cam produces before it kicks in... and oneday, you will join people on events, and you WILL get stuck in traffic....

mine wont be a overly fast one, just one with a fair bit of oomph......;D

ill phone round come friday havent had time, i dont mind for a while sitting with a standard 998 eg till ive been driveing for a few months after my test.

due to the wet weather, lots of places are already slashing prices on summer stock and you may get a Gayzeebo at cut price.... one with sides would be ideal.

hurmmm get my dad to spray it then, he used to do it in a pokey old garage......well i was thinking scafolding poles and abit or taropling, throw some rope in there and its good!


but yours is proably a more.....how do i say it, less industrial looking idea...

thatll be cheaper for me as i have a tarpoling a huge one!!!, and the width is adjustable!!!!! ;D so thats the one ill be doing..

or borrow the gazebo i have for working on my car.. its at kats house...

that has sides :)

its a 3m x 3m tent basically...
