Small update, stage 1 kit fitting has been arranged for next Saturday (22nd I think) :w00t:

But the guy at the garage was being a right sleaze and has kind of put me off taking it there :xxx: :gimme:

He's only gonna charge me £20 and do it on a Saturday morning so I can help out, which is exciting as it's in a proper garage but then he also said something about bending me over the bonnet of the car.... :gimme:

I don't know whether it's worth it, if he's gonna be like that :gimme:

Sounds like he's wanting payment in another form too! :)

The stage 1 kit is the immediate next step - I've had an exhaust leant against my bedroom wall since MITP! That's being fitted next weekend I hope, and I want a Dukes of Hazzard horn :P

Apart from that I'm not sure - I have a roll cage in primer in my garage but I don't know whether it's worth fitting it and what colour to paint it :dontgetit: lol. Also want to replace the trim around the front and rear screens as it's yellow - it's meant to be chrome! We also need some music :ermm:| It's got a MW/LW radio and a single tinny speaker on the rear shelf :)

The car has just gone through an MOT and I've taxed it for a year too so there's minimum expenditure needed in the near future (except insurance at the end of November) so I think I'm going to drive it for a while, enjoy it, and see what I want to do :P

the roll cage will be worth it you need to put it in. it will make it look sporty'r just paint it black or paint it to go with your seats or a color that gose with your seat. but black is your safe bet realy because anything gose with black or get it silver/crome that could also work.
and dukes of hazzard hord would be kool but what i want in mine (when i get it) is just a big LOUD airforn so when you peep it will make people jump.
and just get yerself ta ebay and get a cheap cd player and go to the I.C.E bit on this site and get some speaker ideas :)

good luck with all that.

supose its cuming up for winter and if your keeping it in its bed over winter you can just work on it then so when you bring it back out next year POW!!!
it will be like a new born baby/mini

Thing is I don't really do the sporty look :ermm: I prefer it looking standard-ish and going well (although not blistering because I'd like a lower insurance premium considering I have a 3 year old Fiesta to run as well)

I was thinking of painting it british racing green to match the piping in my bucket seats. It's just a hassle fitting it really lol :P And is it worth it when the car has less than 40 horses and only comes out to play once a week :)

Also I hopefully won't need the ICE forum for my stereo set-up, all I want is a bog standard CD player and a set of 6x9s to go in the board I have to put under the rear seats.

am all for just making to mini look classic and a mini is a mini. but am also for the mini with turbo engine and
