Aylesbury - Crystal Palace = 50 miles
Crystal Palace - Brighton = 50 miles
Brighton - Aylesbury = 90 miles

190 miles on less than a tank of fuel, and with NO problems! :) Huzzah :)

Everyone beat Jeff's 1275 :w00t: I was pretty surprised and pleased to win that hehe

Aaaargh the car's so awkward though, we thought we'd narrowed down the stereo problem to the headunit, so I just took it back for a replacement - that doesn't work either. Just no power. So I need to look at the wiring again >_< Pretty sure everything lemming did wiring it in was fine, it must be a dodgy power source... But we used the line from the original stereo, which worked for a day :ermm:

fuses, you might have already tried but when i had a glass type fuse box witha very corroded fuse it used to cut out over bumps so i just span it in its sit and the stereo worked, magic!!
you may not have corroded fuses but just an idea

It is earthed, and I have checked the fuses many times recently due to dodgy leccy... though I don't know which one actually relates to what :ermm: It's been suggested I should make a new loom as all the wiring is old and I don't know what does what
