yeah i do have a fair bit to do there. i drove it around for two years then failed the MOT and its been standing around for the past year. ive had a very busy year and only just been able to turn my attention to it, and with some spare money. its a shame because when it failed the MOT it didnt really need that much to get it going again. but im fairly new with minis and im in no rush to get it going again... make sure everythings done properly, have some fun as i go along and end up with a nice car at the end of it all

ah thanks alot. im quite picky when it comes to things like this especially where theres $$$ involved! cant afford to get it wrong on a tight budget lol.

well im still a student you see so money is always a problem!! having said that, some of the nicest minis ive seen have been built on a student budget so anythings possible.

Worst bit is cutting it up to repair it, but once the panels start going back in. you breathe a big sigh of relief and wonder what all the fuss you made was about.

carbon fibre bonnet isnt the best fit, it seems to dip in the middle. will have to 'pack' it up a bit to shape it properly
the subframe has also been streightened, ready for the engine t go on

yehh, its going really well
hopefully the engine is going in on thursday, then all thats left is a little bit of bodywork and paint
its in the north east restoration club massive place full of all classic cars being restored
