Hi again guys, just a quick update to tell you where I am at the mo.

Wheels arrived Tuesday afternoon, on the saturday (yesterday) I bought my stage 1 kit, today (sunday) ive trimmed the arches for the new wheels and Im pleased to say that the arches fit perfect because I was worried about them not streching far enough. Tried my new wheels on and they look The dogs dangles!!, so im going to fit them all on tomorrow, then tuesday afternoon (hopefully) I can start fitting my stage one.

Then on the Sunday it will be going to the breakfast club meet at RAF cosford (first debut show!), then sunday after it will be going to mini fair!

So a bit action packed over the next few weeks .

And if you see it mate have a good nosey, but dont rub your nose on the screen because I will have only just polished it .

Right, biggg update. (Caution: Pic heavy )

Well its been a great weekend started off on friday fitting my stage one, everything went smoothly which I was pleased about and fired up first time and idled perfectly, just needed slight adjustment with the colourtune, but im going to book it in for a r/r session at some point. But from first impressions its like a rocket! and the exhaust sounds gorgeous .

Next on saturday I fitted my wheels (already trimmed the arches the weekend previous), and then set about washing, polishing and waxing it for the first time since cutting back the paint. The finish is outstanding and im really really pleased how the paint job has turned out. The I just stook on my new number plates and put the steering wheel on what was in my sidewalk (temporary until I get a new one from mini fair) because it was too small for a daily mini.

And thats it for this weekend, next weekend I will be shopping at mini fair then putting my new bits on .

End result? ABSOLUTELY FFFFFLIPING GORGEOUS!!!!!

Come back from cosford today and even though it wasn't raining and nothing like the weather that was expected, the car was filthy! so washed it down again and now its back in the garage ready for Bingley next sunday .

Just read through the whole thread to see your new wheels under the w&ps, absolutely stunned. Such great work, really really impressed. wheels look great under those w&ps too, helped me out choosing what arches I want when I come to it

I didn't buy it as a 'kit', just bought all the stuff needed from mini spares .

Where did you get your arches from again bud? Was it much chew to put them on aswell?

I'm fancying some for my mini when i get it now i've seen yours lol.
