Got the wing and arches painted today (got no pics of the arches). Was a bit nervous putting the first coat on the wing because I was worried about it fish eyeing again, but its come out great! Just needs slight flatting and buff up with compound/polish, but to be honest when I compare the finish on the wing which is freshly painted and the bonnet which has been polished, theres hardly any difference!.

Starting putting things back on now, Ive cut back the roof and its blended in perfect. Also I decided to respray the passenger side front corner because it was stone chipped and didn't look right considering I sprayed the otherside when I did the wing. Also gave the bit under the front bumber lip a 'blow over', no pics of this though.

Also polished my tip, exhaust that is :dontgetit:.

Pic of the roof (spot the touch up >_<).

Just a small update.....

Entered into the conourse at Himley Hall on the 10th may, didn't win anything but I loved how my car looked so i was happy :D.

I really really want a set of hilos now but due to being currently unemployed (AGAIN!) im having to watch the old pennys! that might not stop me I dont think though because its undriveable at the moment because of the front being so low. Managed to buy a chrome rocker cover with t-bars and some chrome hinges though, so I can fuel my spending habit on my minis =].

Hoping at some point (when I find a job) to start the interior, and a fruiter engine might be on the cards in the future.... nothing wild just a 1275 with a stage 1 and hopefully with the MG bells and whistles but they are not easy engines to source :-.

In the mean time I will be taking it to the shows and enjoying it really.

Just got the little task of rebuilding a mini thirty now :-, but will fire a thread on that one closer to the 'stuck-in' time :w00t:.

Anyway heres a pic at himley.
