You parked in the space wrong!
I'm loving that though! So clean and tidy! Try and keep it like that!
Good luck, with wood and picket arches, because of their shape they offer no protection and it will spray everything from the road, straight up onto the bodywork.
Thanks guys
.
Come back from cosford today and even though it wasn't raining and nothing like the weather that was expected, the car was filthy! so washed it down again and now its back in the garage ready for Bingley next sunday.

Get used to it with your arches and wheel combination.
Car does look gorgeous, you've convinced me to colour code my arches now, just makes the car look cleaner and less clutered.
Keep going car looks excelent. I've followed this pretty much from the begining.

i'd say get some Hi-lo's on it now, the front height looks perfect, but the back could do with dropping an inch or so.
otherwise, it's bloody lovely!

The blue'n has been running like a dream since its been on the road, had a little mishap with the pressure washer causing brake fluid to splash onto the wing and burning the paint

Next big thing to do is to get some sounds into it

So get the wing sprayed in then go from there. But im going to be starting on my thirty shortly aswell.
No rest for an enthusiast

Been doing some tidy up jobs on the blue'n, even though its only been on the road for a few months, but they where things I overlooked during the rebuild.
Noticed the paint on the sills was chipping off as I didn't stonechip them, so Ive gave them a coat of stonechip and they will get a colour coat aswell.
The arches have gotten badly stonechipped because we didn't put enough paint on them (1 coat I think

The back hinge panel, the paint was chipping off, dont know why, so ive cleaned it up, preped and now ready for paint.
Last but the reason why this all started, I was pressure washing the engine the one day, and managed to spray excess brake fluid from ontop of the clutch master cylinder onto the wing

So thats now preped aswell.
If everything goes to plan and if the weathers good I will spray all the bits tomorrow.
Also done a test panel today to see if I could spray, because my dad sprayed the car and I have only sprayed primer, which is easy to do.
Seeing as its my first time with colour coats and think its come out nice, might be slightly better than dads finish

Some pics for viewers pleasure

Sills stonechiped.

Back being worked on.

Almost ready for paint.

Finish of my first go at colour coats (finish straight from gun)

I sprayed the drivers wing and it fish eyed because theres still brake fluid on there, so its going to need to be flatted back down to almost bare metal, primered, flatted then painted.
Other panels have come out spot on!
Roof touched up, can just about see the area Ive painted.

Sills painted.

Back hinge panel painted.
