[Down&Out]

Getting there now, major mile stone today, put the bonnet on .

Just got to fit, door trim bits, rear bumper and fog light, still after a windscreen, and arches.

Got one of the arches fitted, also fitted all the interior trim peices (forgot to take piccy) and Ive fitted my rear bmuper, was going to get my last lot of parts from catton today but it was rained off so....., will have to wait until standford next week.

Nearly finished fitting the arches (just one more to do), changed the screws to zinc coated as the black ones I had where rubbish!.

Looks fantastic .



Might notice the back end is a bit high, its because its jacked up .

Its nearly done, so close i can smell it .

Got RAC coming tomorrow to fit a new windscreen for me , fitted my new shiney fog light and works! , just got to put the n/s arch on now and my badge, anddddd thatsss it I think. For the moment anyway .

Book it in for VIC, and MOT.

Not yet, got to go through VIC 1st (because it was damaged), then MOT.

Few odds and ends to tie up, but its now ready for the VIC test, just got to book it now.

Had its first wash today, looking good .

Wanted to take pics outside but the weather was shocking.

Well I can happily say its FINISHED!!!!, For now , done the finishing touches this weekend, drilled out the riv nuts and nut and bolted the drivers mirror, much easier than fafing about with those riv nuts (this job was the one I wanted to get done as it was the last big job on the list) but done that so all is good . Fitted the wipers and they work with the washers aswell, and also fitted the horn, suprised how the original horn is so loud!

Just popped on the original plates for the VIC test, once it passes and I get a log book I will get some new ones made up .

Sent off for the VIC (vehicle identity check) this afternoon, once Ive sent it in to be checked i can apply for a log book then get it MOT'd and then tax'd. Should take about a month or so, depends when I get my slot at the centre and the log book etc.

Once its on the road I can start modding it .

What you think?? I think its bloody gorgeous, but i maybe biased :D:D.
