Was down there today at about 11.30 , but as always heritage failed and decided to not deliver the part I needed , guess I'll have to get in next time , should be taking front subframe off by end of day though

Could you please measure the bit the windscreen fits in (not counting seals) so from the bottom lip to top of the scuttle if you get me?

Hmmm , really need to work on this , thing is only go to dads every other weekend and didnt work on it last weekend, just want to get some more done
What else needs doing , you may ask, heres a list :
Passengers floor , scuttle repair and flitch panel , crossmember , bulkhead stiffener and inner wing repair panel. Toe and heelboard repairs , rear bins need doing , both the bin and the bits inside. Then its to the back , all needed at the back is the boot floor repair panel and rear valance and then some little patches in other places.

id love to see the list for how much youve spent on panels
what are the final plans are you doing it back to original or putting youre own spin on it

Nah not really , cant really justify 5k to be honest
to be honest panels havent cost me too much , maybe a couple of hundred?
And finals plans , gonna put it back to original and then start adding things.

Just wish this could move on abit quicker , might be able to get other floor in this weekend, not sure though because Dads on call :/. Got to mark crossmember and where to cut it aswell , good times.

you need to get some gas for your mig so you dont burn your self to death with that splatter . has much nicer weld with gas . shuld of just found a better shell look to be to far gone for me

I know it has a better weld with gas but have no idea on how to convert it , also my welds are much better than in earlier in this thread , will get you some pics or something. Thats your opinion , I dont mind working to make the shell better.

i know how you feel not getting to work on it i work outside so the weather drives me mad i have been out this week though in the snow and cold when i cant go out though im seriosly moody
itl all be worth it in the end though not many out there who have built the car they drive
keep up the good work and we are all interested even if we dont post anything i have the same on my rebuild thread no one ever writes on there

Cheers mate , should be able to update it soon , if all goes to plan. Dad wanted to go out sometime late this week but I dont think that will happen. Will update as soon as something happens - so January :/
