You can buy a radtec one from Kad for £240!
Well, that pretty much sums up how absolutely poo this week has been for me!!

But anyway, it's nearly all together now, got some core plugs from Sleaford Mini Centre, and after 2 trips back and forth(good song) to sleaford because I got the wrong size alternator belt, it is nearly ready to start tomorrow, maybe

Watch this space.

I have a question, where are the your throttle body trumpets from or are they custom made?

Here's a video, amazing quality, lol, it's the only one i've got, and since one of the windings has burnt out on the starter motor I can't do anymore until thats sorted

the engine looks at hbome in there anyway hope you have no problems with it ,looks welll
Yeah it looks right, even if there isn't much room for filters on the trumpets

just read from page 1 all the way through !! very nice build! very smart car but do get a video up so we can hear the twim cam goodness
by the way Well done once again !!!!
Robbie
Thanks for taking the time to read it!! and thanks I'm very pleased with it

lovely looking engine build and well done on getting it running!

Thankyou, they are from Specialist Components and are part of the kit, but I'm considering having some very short ones made up at work, so I can build a plenum chamber.

Bolted it on and she fired up

All is well, I have had to modify the clutch arm today as there was not enough throw on it to disengage the clutch properly and put it in gear, I'll get some photo's up tomorrow of that

I don't have much else left to do now, wiper motor needs reinstalling, I have a few slightly weird electrical gremlins with the dash switches and heater, and I need to paint a couple of the alloys still. The rear subframe needs to come off and be rebuilt but thats a job for the winter

Oh yeah, and I still need to decide what I'm going to do with the front arches and silly wide wheels, I think Group 2 arches are the way forward, unless I cut the inner edge of the standards out. Whatever I do the bodywork needs cutting and folding

But there we go, on the home straight now

Main thing I still need to do is cut the arches and wings, which I don't really want to do but I want the alloys on it

I also need to rebuild the rear subframe still, but thats a job for the winter/before Xmas.

Heres her bum, lol, with big zorst. She still needs her badges, which I'm waiting until shes on the road to christen her

And the dash, which I think is maybe the best part of the car

And then my not so favourite part, lol, some grim looking 10" steelies, needed them for clearance though

Next time I post photo's she'll be on the road
