Ross! I'm not liking you ATM, you stole my mirror lol, after seeing it in jimsters mini (the yellow 16v turbo miglia) I had to get one but the bummers over in some shop in the USA wanted to charge like £40 just to post it!!!

I'm sure you know what I told them to do lol

give me a PM of the cost of that one matey. They got anymore in stock at pitstop?

Cheers

Re - the mirror.

I got it through one of the drivers.I think he imported a few and had one or two left over to sell.Ralph at Pitstop had kept it in his workshop for Marc as opposed to Ralph being a stockist/supplier so probably best not to pester him about them. There aren't any left now but if I hear of any more going I can let you know.Postage to get one from the USA is steep like greg says.

Cheers Ross.

Fantastic Ross! Absolutely love it.

Looks like you've made a promising start too. Interesting mirror, i've never seen one before.

I assume your planning to repaint the inside? any particular colour?

Chris

Thanks guys,

Regarding a colour scheme I have 3 different ones that I chop and change between, all of them keep the interior as metallic grey though.Suppose it depends on what I fancy when it comes to paint time.

JD - I will measure that line for you when I get chance, havnt forgotten.

Cheers Ross.

Cheers for that O_O, I don't have a garden hose I can use to measure the length. I'm still going the idea of dark blue (not sure yet on a final type of blue), cream interior and CF everywhere :techsupport:.

Thanks George,

The motor will most probably be a 1293 a series turbo.I would like to see 180bhp or there abouts, should be fun once ive learned how to hang onto the bugger properly!

These arrived this morning courtesy of Carl Austin (Force Racing),really impressed with the quality and the service was very quick for a custom item,so thanks very much to Carl and will definitely be using him for some more bits later on.The two smaller ones are track rod extenders/adjusters.The longer one is the adjuster for the gear linkage and is both left and right hand threaded for easy adjustment. All are made from stainless so wont just turn into a mess after a few months on the road.

For the time being they will be used with these - studded rose joints in place of the standard track rod ends. They studded joints will eventually be replaced with a set of national rod end when get time to make up an attachment for the steering arms but these will do for now as I need the steering usable so I can move the car to our new house next month. The arms have already had the tapers drilled out so its just a case of bolting it together.

Also if anyones interested one of the pairs of side mounts is for sale, just give me a shout.
