hahaha bank sounds good, such a shame for ross to have to sell, fantastic little shell and would make an amazing mini! wish you all the luck selling, let me know about the pm i sent you.

Still here,very little interest to be honest.

Well not much exiting to report as im still waiting on finishing a couple of parts before I take pictures.

I have sorted the two pitted bits of the front floor which I had been meaning to do for ages,as its the only bit of anything approaching proper rust on the car I thought I had better sort it out.I had been thinking about buying a front floor panel and just doing the lot but a genuine one was £75 and I was too tight to buy it.Also as the shell has been jigged,the floor is all sorts of shapes anyway so the panel would need loads of work to make it fit anyway.Decided the best thing to do was just cut out the nasty bits as the rest of the floor is in great condition.(Apologies for the pics,they are a bit dark and make the floor look knackered.)

Heres the floor to start with.

First bit cut out.




First bit welded in.




Both bits welded in.




Cleaned up roughly on the inside,didnt go mad as this is covered by a false floor so its not worth risking thinning out the metal during dressing it back.You can also see a few seam welds I ground back and redid on the bulkhead as the original ones were a bit messy.




Cleaned up the outside more thoroughly as I hate it when cars look like a patchwork quilt,the far patch needs a bit more work to tidy up on one side but I ran out of grinding stones for the dremel.




Lastly the bits I cut out.Quite bad once you get a look at them and glad i cut them out now.
