Replaced the windscreen.  Took days to work out the technique then managed it quite quickly :).   Must have is the heavy duty tool from Mini Spares.

Swapped the 8" * 13" wheels (not a typo, just measured them!) out for some nice new 5.5" * 12" with A048 rubber from MiniSport.  I prefer handling over width.

Next....fit some nicer wheel arches

Just took for a nice long drive to ensure things are working as they should a couple of weeks before the old L2B test. Besides an annoying squeak from one of the rear windows it seems ok so far :)

Cleaned black fan, and after a while it turned shiny yellow! Worrying times that I actually enjoy cleaning things under the bonnet, very addictive!! Also took front wheels off in preparation for my 12' to 10' brake kit. Very excited!

I took it out for a drive in the sunshine. Also fitted the original radio cassette player back into it.

Fitted chrome door handles and bootlock and changed the barrels over to my existing ones. Look a lot better than the boring grey ones that were there before.

Got the estate running at last. I believe it's been 10 years since it last had an engine in it that worked? Happy times.
Only a small list of things to do before I can take it for road worthiness test :D
