Got my brake lights working again, and think I might finally have a waterproof Mini.

Re-torqued the head in my workplace car park and did the valve clearances :P

Poked my head in the workshop to see how she looked and think how I need to get her going, to discover someone had spilt john Deere green down the side, cleaned the car, polished the paint off and decided the rest of the car been covered in dust for 18 years needed doing too, so ended up cleaning and polishing whole mini, much happier, ne happier when it runs though!

Went to get it started as haven't used it for a while. Cor it didn't half smell of burn and smoke when I first started it up >_< Cleared up straight away. Wonder what it was /: anyway took it for a good blast

this BH weekend
bled the brakes
removed the seats
bled the brakes
stripped out carpets ready for welding.
bled the brakes, bled the brakes.
fitted new oil pressure sender.
bled the brakes, bled the brakes
removed calipers and bled the brakes
fitted new body seal on fuel tank inlet.
prayed to various gods & bled the brakes.
gave in. :(

Stripped the front disc off the shaft,to paint the front hub.1 side done.

Discovered that no.2 piston had been put in back-to-front (Not by us I hasten to add!)

Drove it in the poring rain to work :D

Yesterday I fiddled with the height and got it sitting exacting how I want it now.

Swapped out the standard City seats for some Cobra buckets and also replaced the rear covers. After that we adjusted the rear drums and handbrake.

Touched up some paint inside and out. Was pleasantly surprised at how well the paint matches. Just need to keep layering the paint in them chips :P
