Finished the van ready for an mot tomorrow and hopefully a trip to Brands on Sunday.

It's not been on the road for 3 years, and has had a new floor, heal board, other welding, reworked electrics, refurbished suspension front and rear, and so on.

Been cleaning out the garage. Found a few goodies forgot I had including a desmo roof rack, so tidied it up a bit and gonna paint it on Sunday.

Fitted carpets. Attempted a 0-60 after recent tune up; but a range rover came right up behind me at the junction, so I wasn't stationary for long enough for it to register.

Drove over to mini spares and got some parts. Was very nice to see their featured Mk3 "s"

I started doing the same, but the pretty intense downpour put a stop to that. Was hoping to get my A032's on there as well but that's not happening.

Don't think the mini will be up there tomorrow!

Pumped some grease into the ball joints and rear radius arm.

Just got to clean it in the morning ready for Himley Hall.

It ain't pretty, but it's rock solid and on the road! Only niggle is the induction noise from the cone filter, but can't put my finger on a standard one just now.

I had to pick the right time to wash managed that quickly dried it and applied wax to roof started to rain so put back in garage(not enough room to wax in garage) stopped raining got him out applied abit more wax states to rain again so put away, did this cycle five times now he's ready for tomorrow even though he's probably going to get wet straight away

I trial fitted my drivers door today, with a little bit of slotting of the hinge holes and adding a bit to the door it'll be spot on
