I installed new front door pods, new components and tweeters. Sounds phenomenal!

Finished the van ready for an mot tomorrow and hopefully a trip to Brands on Sunday.
It's not been on the road for 3 years, and has had a new floor, heal board, other welding, reworked electrics, refurbished suspension front and rear, and so on.

Good luck mike, I will be sure to have an eye out for it!

It ain't pretty, but it's rock solid and on the road! Only niggle is the induction noise from the cone filter, but can't put my finger on a standard one just now.

You looking for a standard air box?

PM me

I have a couple. Just won't get round to fitting one by tomorrow.

Dodged the rain and Polished it ready for Himley tomorrow. It's been a good few years since my last mini show, looking forward to see how much the mini scene has changed 😊

Eventful day in the world of my Mini. Volunteered this weekend for the Duke of Edinburgh so spent most of the weekend blasting around the country lanes in the Surrey Hills... While i drove from one checkpoint to the other. As i was just about to leave was driving along and then the engine cut and had white smoke from pouring out of the bonnet. After peeling back a fried wire from the loom and then checking everything over thought it best to call the AA.
Turned out the suspect wire had dead shorted and after replacing and insulating we were all good to go. Drove it home and then went to pick up 'a few bottles of water' a friend had lying around. 120 1.5L bottles later of Highland Spring later we were ready to go with the car on the bumpstops. Not how I thought the day would end after seeing the smoke pour out earlier.

Busy day for me. Changed oil, fitted chrome wheel arches and sill trim, fitted intermittent wiper kit, and finished of with some new chrome mirrors.

An I did notice that one on my way out! Didn't think to take a photo, I remember commenting on the colour. Nice to see you got it sorted!

Painted subframe. Got radio working, and decided the speakers were amazing so they are going in my other mini. Discovered that it did in fact have a horn. Changed the needle and tweaked it a bit and it starts and runs well now. And burnt stuff. :teehee:

Found more rust! And found out I need new chrome around my grille... and a new grille preferably.

I love my car. Never stops giving me things to do!

Cam.
