Sprayed the companion bins and seat with etch primer and then red oxide primer. Wire brushed both the radius arms and painted them with Eastwood Rust Encapsulator in matt black. It gives a terrific covering which I shall then further coat with rubberised coating from Eastwood as well.
Feels like good progress for once.

Made a start de-stickering it! Bloody vinyl decals, the pink roof chequers and the rally ******* look stickers. Taken me quite a while. and no even half way around the vehicle yet!
Split the day up by visiting the Vale of Glamorgan motor show. There were some real sweet motors there and a few mini's. Pics later in a separate thread.

Got around to spraying Waxoyl thought out the car after stripping her. Filled the seals with it and gave the floor pan a coating too.

Had another go at bleeding the bleedin' clutch up, bleedin' thing's been driving us bleedin' nuts! Got another tiny bubble out and bingo! i have a lovely smooth gearchange! Woo hoo! :D:D

Sprayed the radius arms chilli red (its a BMW mini colour) to match the colour we are going to spray the body.

Took my engine out, painted the engine bay, stripped the interior AND TRIED TO STOP THE WATER GETTING IN !

New cone, hi lo, knuckle joint, shock, brake pads, back plate, springs, cylinder & drum. One corner done tonight, three more tomorrow! No seized nuts or bolts yet, here's hoping the good luck continues.

Fitted a new steering rack gaiter before mot today. Also adjusted the front tracking. Got up early to fit some wing mirrors
