I drove mine just over 100 miles and hit a giant bloody pothole on the road into the place I was going too!    - steering arm re-straightened now and re tacking it tomorrow!

Have been trying to sort out the lack of indicators..... no luck as of yet, but complying a list of what to check from this forum... Now I really, really know why I have a mini, to keep the grey cells alive and kicking.

Received my very first Mini parts order (after receiving very first Mini two weeks ago) !!!   Learned where all the fluids are in the engine compartment.  Next is try to figure out what is leaking on my garage floor.

the leak,if oil is more than likely to be the gearbox oil seal at the back of the box. very common and not a difficult job

Stripped another set of twins for rebushing then i will refurb them.
So my spare set will be up for sale soon.
( with spindle play) just haf New jets needles float parts and so on.

Replaced all the shocks and used a couple of layers of foam under the drivers seat on my Sidewalk, it no longer rolls and bounces all over the place, and feels a lot more comfortable to drive. I was thinking of getting better seats but the extra layers of foam mean your backs not jolted ever time you hit a bump, and it keeps its original look.

Got it back on the road yesterday after months of not moving. New radiator, thermostat, water pump, alternator belt, flushed the heater matrix and an oil change.

Fitted a new boot seal. It's now very hard to close 😁
