Fitted a new boot seal. It's now very hard to close

No doubt still leaks a teeeeeny bit? Mine did haha

I've never bothered with a seal on mine. Even when water was streaming in through the old windscreen rubber, the boot was always dry.

mine is a vane effort to block some more exhaust fumes. Probably will still leak.

Took my number 1 Mini to the Uttoxeter Mini Fest today. Was "invited" into the show n shine - never even got a mention. Bombed out on the raffle too. Never mind, bought a few bits and saw some awesome Minis.  O_O

Filled it up with fuel, pretty satisfying the litres and pounds I put in. (See pic)

Drove it to work again, 2nd time this week. So much for trying to only use it at weekends to keep the miles down. Can't seem to resist it, the wee car is going lovely at the moment and I'm just thoroughly enjoying driiving it!

Replaced my diode broken 30a alternator with a new shiny 45a version. Now I can drive without fear of using my lights and draining the battery before I get to or from work and no more charging every night!
