looked at some speakers
looked at space under rear seats (already have two on a board but want a discrete sub)
looked at the speakers again
and again, looked at the space under the seats
repeat ^ a few times
set off to my local town to get some MDF to make a sub box
got sidetracked, got a chippy and came home without any MDF.

Thankfully I was only in the process of putting it on axle stands and had plenty of time to get out of the way, but it was an interesting experience

Whilst it's not much more than undoing bolts, considering how many bokts there are to undo on other things first, it's one of the most involved jobs I've done so far. So I'm feeling rather pleased with myself.
Next job? Cleaning. Cleaning. More cleaning. And then valve stem oil seals!

Starting taking the clutch slave cylinder and gave up because i just get can't to one of the bolts. Water bottle removed and one slightly buggered engine stabiliser removed, bracket on the bulkhead will nee replacing as it sorta disintegrated in the removal process!
Oh and made a dolly out of a pallet and some wheels to stick the mini on when stripped.

Put me new dizzy drive and dizzy in today, then found that the clamp bolt wouldn`t reach the hole because I got a Smiffys clamp. Finished off the stainless LCB and found that the 2 into 1 part fouls the floor, *******!

Have you tried it both ways? Mine was close on the way it was meant to fit but the other way is impossible.found that the 2 into 1 part fouls the floor, *******!
If it's the specialist components one the lambda sensor hole should point towards the passenger / near side.
