Have you tried it both ways? Mine was close on the way it was meant to fit but the other way is impossible.found that the 2 into 1 part fouls the floor, *******!
If it's the specialist components one the lambda sensor hole should point towards the passenger / near side.
It is that very one and strangely enough as the original mild steel one is still hanging there on the central pipe I copied the orientation of that which put the sensor hole on the passenger side. It`s touching the nearside of the tunnel quite low down. Not massively but I suspect enough to transmit resonance to inside.

yay! I have been watching your content with amusement (sorry, I hope you don't mind ) at how much the slave cylinder was pi55ing you off. Just amusing because I can understand your frustration. Loved it when the quick comment came up "Damn and blast at slave cylinder removal"

Today I gave up on the Sykes Pikavant valve spring compressor and took it back for a refund.
Then I carefully measured a Clarke valve spring compressor form Machine Mart.
When I got it home and tried to use it, it turned out I'd mis-measured, or the thing had deformed on first contact or something.
So I took that back for a refund.
Then I tried a different Clarke valve spring compressor form Machine Mart. One that couldn't possibly be too big for a fecking A+.
AT LAST.
Then I ran out of time.
But at least I got one valve lapped.
It's only take 2 days so far. SHould have them all done by Xmas.

Took Rupert in to FORD for an alignment! Was one of the only places in the city with the new style alignment machines that would fit on 10" wheels.
