Finally managed to route the coolant hose around the back of the heater box and get it connected to the matrix without it crimping, or fouling on anything

Polish the over spray of my wheels and wax them up. They are gleaming!

Over the last few days, fitted a new downpipe to my SPi (took 5 hours thanks to studs snapping and having a lack of clearance etc etc...) and also fitted as new manifold gasket, new air filter and screws. Much quieter and smoother now as the exhaust is doing it's job! Tomorrow morning I plan to clean up all earthing points and add another engine earth strap :)

Servo nuts are a good place to attach an additional earth strap. Nice and easy access.

I put the new one on the top starter motor screw, which screws into the transfer casing. Then, I drilled a hole through the ECU bracket and mounted it through there (haven't affected the ECU earthing at all).

Seems to have worked..

Finally got round to replacing my ignition switch. Have had to fight the key out of the lock ever since a 'mechanic' tried to put the petrol cap key into the switch instead of the ignition key. Went in easy enough, but had visions of snapping the bugger off every time i pulled the key out.
5 minute job since i didn't fit the shear bolts the last time.

Fitted a new clutch master cylinder.

Another original part bites the dust and yes I lost the pin which secures the pedal to the cylinder. What do you expect when you're almost stood on your head under the dash trying to hold a torch in your mouth......

... Well not today, but the last things which I had done my mini was a dent from the roof and a small section of surface rust on the rear side window panel removed, upon having the whole top roof and rear side panel resprayed.

Had it all done last weekend.

Applied rust converter to my fan cowling. I will get it sprayed up in the next couple of days so that it looks a bit better when I put my new rad in.
