Some small paint work touch up on the inner drivers door.

Removed ecu loom and dash ready for a few winter quality of life improvements.

Refitted my exhaust after removing it by driving over a hose in the street. Also treated it to some new bits in the minispares sale.

Put some Liqui Moly fuel injector cleaner in the tank + some more bits and bobs.

Spent the day looking out parts for my Mk3 (namely rear radius arms) and found what I thought was a pair that I reconditioned a few years ago only to discover that they are both left hand arms. Eventually found the right hand arms so I'll need to order a pair of pin kits and get these 2 reconditioned

Engine running. 20 minutes at 2500RPM to run in new cam. Retorque head and adjust valves. But clutch is not releasing? Something for tomorrow.

Applied Dinitrol black underboby rust proofing. Sticky stuff!

50 meters testrun, not insured yet. Clutch OK now but needs some tinkering with ignition and the Dellorto.

Turbo and intercooler fitted. Just the loom to go, ready for the dyno next week....

Had a hundred mile drive up the M1 this evening,challenging with heavy rain,surface water and winds.Water kept getting on the fanbelt causing it to slip,tense moments.Steve..

Finally got round to fitting the stainless steel coolant hose kit from Smiffys mini parts.

Added some silicone adhestive sealant to front windscreen.

Replaced the brake fluid and coolant

Chugging along with the winter upgrades RHD pedal box in, fug stirrer heater out, and trail fitted a tart piece, I've always liked the MGB choke lever, a bit of filing and Robert is one of the family.
