Went out for a couple of hours today, which will probably be the last time until winter is over
Not been out much since installing the KAD adjustable suspension and finally getting it set up!

Who/how will you be getting the suspension set up?

Having just replaced radius arm bearings/shaft on mine I reset corner weights on bathroom scales and used Dunlop gauges to recheck rear toe and camber. I also have the Dunlop castor gauge to set up the front end. Occasionally I'll use string lines to make sure everything is square as well.

Today I finished cleaning up the bellhousing and transfer case.  
Looking forward to getting the bock back and rebuilding the engine.

Finally a dry day, so out the garage for the first time in awhile and everthing all good on a quick nip round the block. Next job will be refitting the bonnet catch after some adjustment.

Took the Mini out today in the sunshine and as always it brought a smile to my face, identified a few jobs I need to do, like fit a new manual controlled electric fan, take out the heater and refurbish to stop it rattling, replace all the steady bar bushes and do a oil and filter change, then its ready for the warmer weather.

Gave it a good clean and touched up some paint where some rust is trying to start. Once it dries it needs a good wax. The winter road salt is taking its toll.

It's honked it down for ages here so all the salt has been washed away. Got up to dry roads this morning so took the little fella for a run. Felt like a real treat.

Too wet to get it out the garage. So, some work inside and finally got round adjusting and putting the bonnet catch back on.

In the process of reinstalling the carburettor, I dropped the choke trunnion, somewhere, god knows where, then wasted the next few hours looking for it. 3 out of 5 screws dropped from the same location ended up between the subframe and body along the steering rack, so guess it's in there somewhere.

 Didn't work on her but took her out for 30 miles, up to Southport and around. Didn't miss a beat. I tell a lie - I have hooked the battery up to a charger and installed a new phone mount. Every little helps.

We get sun in the UK? Seems today we did, so out the garage and on a local run. Have to be like sonic avoiding the potholes but ran good overall.

Popped down to the Black Swan at Ockham for the Breakfast Meet (second Sunday of the month from 08:30).

A bit drizzly/misty, so I didn't take the motorbike. This guy must've been as cold as I woul've been.
