First quick run since late October while the roads have dried up. Blowing off the cobwebs, felt good.

Not been out much since installing the KAD adjustable suspension and finally getting it set up!

Fitted the brake and clutch master cylinders and fitted the bulkhead heater hose plate which is a pig of a job if you are working solo until I came up with a cunning plan.

Radius arm refitted and greased. Corner weights, rear camber and toe angles reset.
I see you have an ARB fitted, how do you find it handling wise?

Installed nice new hubcaps and proceeded to lose one. I retraced where I went but couldn't find it. I guess that's a new excuse for why I normally run without them.
I did also polish the paint as it was in such bad condition I couldn't make it worse. It is definitely an improvement.

It certainly livens up the rear end, glad I didn't buy a thicker bar!

That's a KAD 5/8" bar.
The rear of my car was always very stable, no lift off oversteer, but it would just begin to drift slightly if really pushed hard though a corner.
Now the rear drifts nicely when you're pushing though a corner and the Quaife atb pulls the front in tighter as you apply power. It has a nice predictable amount of lift off oversteer.
In warmer conditions I use the medium and stiff settings. This time of year, the softest is more than enough. Initial turn in feels sharper too.
I guess results will vary depending on individual geometry setups and driving styles.

Thanks for the reply, pretty much as expected then, I do miss lift off oversteer, back in the day when I was a yoof, I used to play " can I get round a roundabout without steering" barrel up to the roundabout, lift off let the back come round, nail the throttle to churn the fronts ( open diff ) to bring it straight and off you go, great fun. Some things stick in you're mind, one of which was a guy in a red Datsun 120y looking out of his side window with me in my old Mk1 square on tyre smoke everywhere. I'm actually going to fit the exact same ARB to my hydro Mk1, just to try and stop it dragging it's door handles round corners, when I had a chat with KAD about it, they said it might be the holy grail set up, we shall see.

Went out for a couple of hours today, which will probably be the last time until winter is over

Who/how will you be getting the suspension set up?
