I've just got the dash for mine but the quality is super, the bonnet, front end and arches are all from Custom Mini's.
Very good stuff indeed

Basically it removes the need for using the clutch to downshift. Therefore making it smoother and easier.

They have a cunning little vacuum controlled throttle blipper that replaces the idle adjuster screw. so when you downshift it blips the throttle a touch.

Z-cars have one on their monte carlo and Chris reckons its a great bit of kit.

cheers for that ade i understand it now!

Dean, if your ever up this way i will take you out in the Indy and give you a demo on the up and down shifts mate.
You will see then what i mean, how easy it is. There can only be milli seconds in it.

No charge for the ride. :dontgetit:

wehey nice 1 have you got a build diary on the indy?

Afraid to tell you but CustomMinis have ended production on their dashboard. The only place you can get them new is from A SERIES SUPPLIES

Never realy noticed, mind you 1st gear is pretty short when your giving it some so you probably don't do 2nd to 1st that much. Only mostly when your having to stop at traffic lights, but i try and stay away from them as much as possible. i'm afraid i might get blown away by a Nova.

3rd gear is a little cracked when your screaming around. :dontgetit:

The reason i was asking is that on the track i have been fooled into thinking i was in 3rd gear and changing down to 2nd for a chicane. However, i was already in 2nd and actually changing down into 1st. The box doesn't like that and makes some nice clonking sounds!!! Not good for box life i don't think!!

I've put a digital gear indicator in the Indy, had one on my last Bike. Get one it's a good investment.

Hi dolts did you use the old bonnet hinges to supports for front or did you fabricate your own? I,m
looking at having my front as yours, hadn't seen one done until now ! looks better for
access than the usual front mounting.

Welderman what arches are they in your pic ?
