Looks like it, runs excel, going for a nice ride to Pennybont (50miles), I know it is Wales, but enough hills for his final test, give it the once over and off we (my son and I) go on the 19th. Fingers crossed.

Malvern on the 1st of April is the next mini-meet!!

Decided on the Merc Rebuild yet??

Yesterday I managed to put two more speakers in, this time in the front under the bottum dash well hidden, total off 900W, enough noise for that small car.......

Today I fitted at last the Wipac spotlights, had a few read's on here and made a diagram, bought the bit's to keep it all Legal and 2 hours later all done.(still space for 2 more...)

Hugh, Muk is still not done,...... I have learned a lot in this Forum and is ongoing, I am doing a lot more planning ahead on EVY, Muk was going in blind,....this time EVY will hopefully go without trouble,.......fat chanse to that!

Today was the big day for Muk, 150 miles round trip to penybont, but it started like this,......

His preformance was excellent no probs with hills or steap climbs, he passed the test 4sure.

when returned home I washed the road-salt of and cleaned him behind the ears.

Well happy with todays adventure, could have gone wrong to, I did see only 1 other austin mini near craven arms today at 5ish, good to see Muk had a pal out there,

but he was rather filthy after his day of playing out there,...and finally had a big smile of my son too, had a few bacon babs in the hills and had a good father/son thingy today.

Yes minimuk, it passes all too soon. But we always look ahead and I can't wait till I can get out to drive mine like you. Must be brilliant to sit in your own car (you are like Graham though, your son's car) and think - I did all this. The photos are great. Enjoy it, you deserve it.

Cheers Hugh, kind words indeed,it is more then brilliant especially it is my first ever car total restore, so all was new to me to,.
To go and see some of my friends last weekend was the icing on the cake,.....they new about it be never thought I would do it, well jell for sure,I did gave them a ride they loved it,...of course... My son will get MUK next year when he got a licence till then I am happy to drive him around and see the sites. So I have got 1 more year to get the other one going, now that will be a challenge!!
I will e starting on that one when I am in the right frame of mind to do it, still doing an 1300 engine and the the 1969 998cc engine, those will keep me in the garage for now,.....
