Looking like an excellent project. Hope the exhaust works well.

Cheers Jagman, this is an never ending project ...........
I did put the new Maniflow on yesterday, with advice and help from Cooperman and Nige 'miniman' Chambers.
I took me about an hour to put it on, brackets removing first of the old set-up then back to the origional ones. After that setting Dwell, timing and Co2 again as the exhaust is different, with the back pressure reduced considerably the engine ticks over nicely and sounds just like.......a mini, with a smooth roar.....I am sure it also will reduce the petrol consumption as the last set up only ad 35MPG.

Just had a read through this thread, Minimuk I think you did a really good job, especially since it was your first project! Hope mine comes out as nice

I has been a while for MUK, getting ready for Himley Hall and MOT end off the month,

bought W&P Arches and had a 'great' day putting them on,.....scary stuff for the first time, took me 5 hours.....just waiting for black sill moulding.



After Sill moulding engine the once over and a good wax nd pollish 4 Sunday

Tom, the colour started as Thahity Blue, then choose a darker one, Nautulis Blue changed that to a Royale blue with a hint of Pearl, Wayne probably knows, the is also a VW colour blue close to this one.

the Wheels are 10"-6 Mamba's gunpowder grey.

as far as the interior of Muk is now, check this threadout few pages back, anymore piccies I got to make them first......

Hi, Markje, well he has a standart 998cc engine, complete refurb as you probably gathered, pulls good and does 75 Miles P/hour pushing 80. not bad for a 31yr old mini... Evy will be a bit different I think......

With some minor tricks the engine can run smoother anyway 75/80 miles is very nice,and you can come along with the normal traffic

for those who want to know,.....I am going with my son on a 'Mini Euro Tour 2012' leaving 5 am tmz, MUK will have a grand time 1600 miles in 6 days.
Shrewsbury-Folkestone(Tunnel)-Calais-Paris-Epernay-Luxembourgh-Nurmburgring-Venlo-A'dam- The Hague-Antwerpen-Calais-(Tunnel)-Shrewsbury.
All is well back in one piece and put some piccies up next friday on here.....and a few on FB
