got a quick look at this when it was on the grass, looking good but why have you coloured parts in red on your door cards? and not to sure about the the sticker bomb on the rear lights think you should keep it clean and smart
tidy though
I was thinking about whether or not leave the stickerbombing on for the show for aaages, in the end decided it was something a bit different :)
Get a stick on plate for the bonnet.......
No chance! I'm not a fan, I usually don't run a plate at the front but I cable tied it on today cause I wanted to get there without any problems from the police or anything :)

I'm generally not a fan of Minis without bumpers as well.

just some tips maybe would be defo keep the plate in the centre (didn't look right to the side) but up a bit higher, or get a stick on 1 for where it is instead of the bonnet. also please don't highlight the tyre writing in white because although it suits very few cars this certainly wouldn't be 1 of them and it would be a shame to spoil it... looked like you were going that direction to me anyways

such a clean looking car, it realy is a jaw dropper... well apart from the sticker bombing but i just won't look inside lol

I'm thinking about a small stick-on plate for the bumper, but don't want to have to pay for that, pay for the fine I might end up getting from a grumpy police man then have to go back to where I started and go back to this one. I'm only a student and the car's just about rinsed my funds dry so far!
Update:
Got water in the electrics from the rain the other day so it cut out at a red light in front of a queue of angry drivers. Luckily a kind police man driving past turned around and towed me away, which I was worried about cause I didn't have a front numberplate on at the time and I was running the US one at the back having just done a photo shoot. But he had a good look round, complimented it, asked about the restoration and went on his way. People just seem to have a soft spot for minis!

Once the electrics dried out I fitted the weather-shield in the engine bay and took it out for another photoshoot, but caught the already weak and rusty exhaust on a speed bump on the way home and it ripped it off the front of the cat, so it now sounds like a barge. Got a new downpipe on order so will be fixing that in time for the weekend.
The pops and bangs are so loud now it's snapped off, is this because the exhaust gases aren't passing through the backbox, or the cat? If it's the cat, I'll get a decat pipe because it sounds like a touring car popping when I'm heel and toe'ing it into a roundabout haha!
From the latest shoot:
