well that was a busy busy weekend, washing polishing parts before putting back on

nothing urgent, rear passenger side housing is a bit cracked which makes the lens a bit wonky.... seats I want to retrim in black padded leather

 

noticed my front indicator bulb is out too so need a new bulb for that.... love the LED wedge bulbs though!

oops, missed headlamp bowls off the list

well after putting it back together I blew some fuses where the indicator bulb blew and was shorting, so got some new bulbs and changed the fuses out for new ones and all working again, hazards and interior light........ luxurious.

 

going to do a spot of interior tidying at the weekend, ripped out the carpets and soundproofing, hoping to be able to re-route stereo wiring to be neater and then recarpet at the weekend, then I will strip the door cards and start to re-cover them in padded leather.

cheers minimuk, I still have a lot to get to do both engine, interior and bodywork wise! I have managed to secure a garage which is going to be brilliant, but it also got me thinking about getting a road legal historic rally car that i could use for weekend and European rallies

 

Not sure how i keep convincing my wife to let me spend time and money on it!

big plans for next year etc,.......time and money is certainly going to be a big part on any projects, take my advice, get her on your side from the beginning otherwise it will be the end of something good......project are like an addiction.....of course I hope you can have both but a balance is required

well got some stuff for cleaning the car the other day... although haven't had the weather or the space to clean it! going to try and clean it before the first minifreakz meet of 2014..

 

Also picking up keys to garage on the 14th :)

 

later in the month I am going to get some welding sorted in the boot.

 

 

Also looking at doing a manual conversion as I am getting a bit bored of not having a clutch
