Well breaks sorted... bearings and balls done parcel shelf in. Will post some photos in a moment

Tyres swapped today now got some new tread on the minilites which is pretty nice. 
 
saturday's jobs are........ oil change and bleeding brakes

Well..... unipart took some money off me today. Oil and oil filter.. sub mounts and a fanbelt

Changed oil and fanbelt. Diagnosed brake squeal. Stopped grill rattle hooray

Did minis on the rec first outing since fixing the wiring again :) need new alternator though

Wow been a while!

 

Okay so I start a new job in a few weeks and would love to be able to drive Jessie to the place...

 

Things needed now:

 

1. Alternator
2. Wiper Motor
3. Headlights Adjusting
4. Carb Tuning / Needle
5. Exhaust Fettling
6. Some metal patching
7. MOT 

 

 

Had a tinker at the weekend and fixed the horn, put a new battery in fired her up, running a little flat but she's running, hence the carb tuning needed.... no charge from the alternator and no charge light, continuity from lamp to alternator though so must be another dud rectifier... that's 3 used alternators all dead, at least I am getting bloody fast at changing them.

 

What to do...

 

Once alternator and wiper motor are fixed I will take it to the body shop for a once over with a screwdriver and a welder before booking it into the MOT, also give it a lovely colour sanding and deep cleanse including steaming inside and engine bay.

well been really enjoying the weather and driving the car!! 

 

All the above have been fixed and flew through another MOT in January.

 

I have also put in some newish seats and am looking for a new rear seat to put in. 

 

not much really needs doing to the car at the moment though apart from servicing and tweaking.
