Quick polish at work lol

Had a tinker today, reset the fast idle, fixet the speakers and fresh air intakes, got the old wiper bracket out, cleaned the air filter, checked for manifold leak and topped up coolant.... then a quick polish

well got stuck in a flood on friday had water coming in as it was higher that the drainage holes..... got towed out by a very nice bloke in a navara and fired old jessie up and pumped the brakes all the way home lol cleared out all the water on sat and polished and cleaned the whole car inside and out on sunday..

just having trouble with the manifold this week, blew on the way home last week and trying to take it off to replace gaskets is proving to be a nightmare! :/

now i found that my actual exhaust has had it so, new one on order and fitting it friday hopefully!

Fitted New Exhaust, now car pulls really smoothly up to 80 amazing the difference a better bore exhaust makes.

also gave her a mini service, filter, plugs, leads, topped up all fluids, changes earth strap on battery.....

Thanks! like most I see the imperfections, went round to the bodyshop last night, got some cracking paint in the seams cut out and masked and sealed off, going to go back and get the sealed parts repainted soon.

can't wait to sort the interior out sadly my budget at the moment has me fighting between parts to make her look nicer or service items :-(

trying to find parts at a reasonable price to fix the wheel bearings, had a few quotes in from garages ranging from £200-£500 just to fix the bearings and ball joints.... I want to do the work myself really but not sure when I will be in a fit state to get under the car.... hmm

 

what else... booked tickets to brandshatch mini festival on the Sunday with my old man again this year. so I will have to get her fixed by then!

 

2 x tyres, tracking, ball joints, wheel bearings.,oil and coolant change and she's good to go

whats happened this week.... I picked up 4 steels with decent tyres on them... started the car a few times and ran up to temp to keep it running..

booked in on the 22nd with minidave to fix the bearings and ball joints.... bought some doorpockets and began the process of buying a parcel shelf.

 

Found some door cards and hoping to learn how to weld next weekend... 

 

cant wait to drive it again but need an oil change and a new fanbelt first
